About Sheridan Kautzmann
Sheridan earned her undergraduate degree in Anthropology/Sociology and Master of Arts in Teaching from Saint Mary’s College of California. She began her career as a high school teacher (10 years) and has had the privilege of serving in various roles including serving as a new teacher mentor, department chair, and implementing curriculum at the district level. It was in teaching, both in urban and suburban schools, that she found her passion for community building, relationship building, and curriculum development. Currently, as Student Experiences Coordinator, she is tasked with planning and facilitating campus visits to help expose students to their post-secondary education opportunities. As a first generation Latinx college graduate, Sheridan is passionate about helping students that are in the most need and guiding them to opportunities they may not see as obtainable. In her free time, Sheridan enjoys watching sports, shooting hoops, exploring new places, and spending quality time with her two daughters, Kennedy and Camille.
