About Shelley Jaques-McMillin

Shelley McMillin, Ph.D. is the Director of K12 Partnerships at the University of Oklahoma’s K20 Center for Educational and Community Renewal. She has over 36 years of experience in public education in which she served as a science teacher, district science curriculum coordinator, elementary school principal, and university adjunct professor. As the Director of K12 Partnerships, she facilitates professional learning opportunities for superintendents and principals in Continuous Strategic Improvement, Leadership and works with early career teachers. Shelley believes that providing an exceptional experience through collaboration with the K12 partnerships creates a positive change in education. In addition to her work with the K12 partnerships, she is passionate about mentoring and empowering other women coming into educational leadership roles to know their worth and support them in their individual growth to help them accomplish their goals.
