

About Pam Bracken
Pamela Bracken is a Creative & Technical Writer/Editor, a member of the K20 Center’s Writing Team working on the GEAR UP O+K=C, GEAR UP for MY SUCCESS, and GEAR UP for the FUTURE grants. Pamela earned her M.A. in English Education from Southern Nazarene University and her Ph.D. in British Literature from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. While in graduate school, she had the opportunity to work in Visitor Services for the National Gallery of Art. After receiving her Ph.D., Pamela taught courses in rhetoric, composition, and literature. As a faculty member and scholar, she served on various campus committees, developed course curricula, course learning objectives, assessment tools, and rubrics, and created a wide variety of academic deliverables, including articles, conference papers, chapters, and scholarly editions. At the K20 Center, Pamela edits educator resources for the K20 LEARN repository, crafts essays, and briefs, and researches copyright and fair use issues for lessons and presentations.
