Mariana DeLoera serves as the Social Studies Curriculum Specialist for GEAR UP O+K=C at the K20 Center, where she works with teachers to develop authentic lessons in social studies. Her career began as a high school teacher in Oklahoma City, where she taught Advanced Placement courses in U.S. History and in Government and Politics for four years. Her passion for higher learning and authentic teaching led her to the K20 Center.

Mariana obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis on Social Studies while also working on a double major in Spanish from Oklahoma State University.
