Farid first joined the center as a student writer and copyeditor during his studies at the University of Oklahoma. After attaining his B.A. degree in journalism/media production and psychology, he serves the center as a full-time videographer and photographer. Prior to his current position, Farid has done various internships in news reporting, advertising, and video production at places like the OU Daily newspaper and Gaylord Hall Production. During his studies, he also assisted media and psychology faculty as teaching and research assistants. Outside of the center, Farid is involved with music, psychology, and international communities on campus.
