Farid first joined the center as a writer and copyeditor as a student at the University of Oklahoma. After attaining his B.A. degree in journalism/media production, he started his full-time position as a graphic artist & videographer and now assists the center with multimedia production, mainly focusing on writing, shooting, and editing videos. Before joining the center, Farid gained his media experience through internships in news reporting, advertising, and video production at places like the OU Daily newspaper and Gaylord Hall Production. During his studies, he was also actively involved in research and education by working as a teaching and research assistant for the psychology and media departments, assisting faculty with experiments, data analysis, and instructional plans. Outside of the center, Farid enjoys music and creative writing.
