Elsa Finley-Combs is a Creative and Technical Writer and Editor for the Gear Up for LIFE project. Elsa attended the University of Oklahoma to study music education before going on to teach private cello lessons and middle school orchestra. After a few years teaching, Elsa moved her focus to writing and worked as a freelance copywriter and digital content writer in Oklahoma City before joining the K20 Center. She is passionate about connecting students with the tools they need to be successful in K-12 education and beyond. When she isn’t writing, Elsa enjoys crocheting, reading, and spending time with her five parrots.
