Matt McDonald supports the K20 Center as a Microcredentialing Online Instructional Designer, assisting in the design and development of online resources. He began his career with K20 as an Instructional Design Curriculum Writer. He is excited to work on improving and expanding K20s online offerings for various students, teachers, and stakeholders of the GEAR UP grants. Matt was recently awarded “Best Presentation for 2024” at the Association for Educational Communication and Technology’s (AECT) annual conference.

Matt’s current interests include creating engaging online content, finding new and useful instructional technologies and applications, and the potential of VR and AR technology in the educational space.
