

About Charlie Kim, M.A.
With an artistic background, Charlie Kim attended Cal State Long Beach, where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts. Later, he received a Bachelor of Science in Media Arts/Animation from the Art Institute of Orange County and, most recently, a Master of Arts & Technology from the University of Oklahoma. Charlie began his career as a 3D generalist working with various video game studios, including Amazon and DayBreak Studios. As a Technical Artist at the K20 Center, he works closely with other artists as well as with programmers on the Game-Based Learning team. His main responsibilities include creating video game assets such as characters, props, UI elements, and animation. Outside of collaborating with GBL, he manages the Art team and assists in creating other K20 Center-related arts.
