“I enjoy my job at the K20 Center and am excited about the impact that we are able to make across the state of Oklahoma. The K20 center continuously offers me the opportunity to work and learn with some of the most creative teachers across our state.”
About Patricia Turner
As a part of both K20 STEM program and the OETT grant program Patricia Turner acts as a liaison to schools that have received the OETT grant and provides them with professional development and support while also working with teachers to help them effectively incorporate science, technology, engineering, and math into their classrooms. Outside of the K20 Center, Turner teaches a class focused on early mathematical concepts as an adjunct faculty member at OU’s College of Education.
Originally from Ohio, Turner and her husband Jeffrey, a Nexrad radar engineer for NOAA, now enjoy traveling the back roads of Oklahoma in their Model A Ford.
