Creative Writer and Editor
“I love being able to go to work doing what I love to do for a real purpose, one that does so much good for others. The world needs more places like the K20 Center.”
About Jacqueline Schlasner
Jacqueline Schlasner is in her first year with the K20 Center as editor and creative writer. When she’s not writing her bio, she’s probably editing curriculum or other K20 publications, writing promotional copy, or creating complex characters and engaging new worlds with the digital game-based learning team.
Outside K20 Center, Schlasner is involved in two media organizations at OU, the student-run advertising and PR firm Lindsey + Asp and the student-run newspaper The Oklahoma Daily; and she is in the midst of writing a dystopian science fiction novel to defend for her degree. In what little spare time she has, Schlasner enjoys playing video games, painting, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and cooking with her partner of three years, Jeff. She is tolerated by three cats.
