GEAR UP for the PROMISE Coordinator
“My favorite aspect of the K20 center is that all of the staff who work with teachers and students are former teachers or school administrators themselves. Meeting the needs of educators who work with us is much easier when you can identify with their struggles and you share the same goal: to enrich the lives of young Oklahomans.”
About Danny Mattox
Danny Mattox is in his first year with the K20 Center as a curriculum specialist. In his position, Mattox writes, edits, and revises science lessons for all ages on the K20 LEARN website.
Mattox is the proud father of a first grader and a third grader who keep him busy outside the K20 Center. In his spare time, the Owasso native enjoys fishing, traveling, videography, and watching the plants in his garden slowly die as he tries his hardest to keep them alive. His love of meteorology has led him to serve as an instructor and videographer/photographer for the National Weather Center’s summer camps each year since they began five years ago.
