About Teresa Lansford, M.LIS.

Teresa Lansford is a National Board Certified Teacher with a Master’s in Library and Information Studies from the University of Oklahoma and 16 years of experience in elementary education. She was Norman Public Schools’ 2018 Teacher of the Year and a 2019 finalist for Oklahoma Teacher of the Year. She has also been the recipient of the Oklahoma School Librarians Technology in Education Award, Oklahoma Technology Association’s Teacher of the Year, Oklahoma School Librarian’s Polly Clarke Award, Oklahoma Central Region SKIE Award, and was a finalist for the Oklahoma Medal for Excellence in Elementary Education. Teresa Lansford is passionate about Makerspaces, student led inquiry, and data driven instruction. She has presented nationally and written articles on data driven practices for librarians, integrating inquiry and Making, and creating a culture of Making in schools. At the K20 Center Teresa Lansford serves as an instructional design curriculum writer, collaborating on resources to help ensure the greatest possible positive impact on student learning.
