Sharon Dean, M.S.
Sharon Dean is the Associate Director of Leadership at the University of Oklahoma’s K20 Center. She has over 45 years of experience in public education in which she served as a teacher, a gifted resource coordinator, an assistant principal, and a principal. At the K20 Center she has coordinated a rural and an urban federal college access grant. As the Associate Director of Leadership, she facilitates professional learning opportunities for principals and superintendents to come together to expand their technology skills, create collaborative networks, problem solve and work toward systemic change for school renewal. She collaboratively developed and facilitates a research-based model for strategic planning for school districts of Oklahoma as well as a professional development institute to support early career teachers. She has presented at state, national and international conferences and has co-authored book chapters and research articles related to technology use for administrators, strategic planning and leadership development.
