Rachelle taught secondary science for nine years in Texas and in Norman, gaining a passion for research-based practices, teacher development, and top-notch student experiences. She has collaborated with educators to develop and deliver professional development focused on the everyday needs of the classroom. She received her Master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma in Education Administration in 2021 and is working on a Ph.D. in Science Education from the University of Central Oklahoma. She believes it is important for educators to be lifelong learners, to not only grow with content but also in pedagogical practices. Collaboration, authentic learning, and play are her favorite parts about education.
