

About Mitch Davis
Mitch Davis serves as the K20 Center’s GEAR UP for MY SUCCESS project’s Mentoring Coordinator. Through this role he helps students, teachers, and counselors in 24 rural high schools across the state, to navigate the career and college exploration process. He began working with the K20 Center in January of 2024. As a classroom teacher, he taught 5th grade and 8th grade Science for 8 years, then served as the College Connection Specialist at Moore Norman Technology Center for 2 and a half years. In 2012, he graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. In 2023, he graduated with Honors from the Southeastern Oklahoma State University, obtaining a Masters degree in Educational Leadership. He recently began the Educational Doctorate focusing on Rural Education at East Central University. His wife, Emma, is also an educator. In his free time, he enjoys playing disc golf, reading Stephen King, and shopping at thrift stores.
