Jehanne Moharram is a Creative & Technical Writer/Editor, a member of the K20 Center’s Writing Team working on the GEAR UP O+K=C, GEAR UP for MY SUCCESS, and GEAR UP for the FUTURE grants. Jehanne earned her MA in Publishing Studies from London and went on to work for and with university presses in the United States for more than fifteen years. Jehanne has been a journalist, a book publishing professional, a freelance editor, and is now a published author. She became more and more interested in education as she raised her children and as her husband switched careers to teaching. Writing and editing for educational purposes is a wonderful new adventure and an exciting challenge. At the K20 Center, Jehanne edits student and educator resources for the K20 LEARN repository and for the K20 learning management system on eKadence, researches copyright and fair use issues as pertains to lesson materials, and writes student reading materials, graphics, and evaluation forms.
