About Jared Whaley
Jared Whaley has 18 years of experience in public education. He was a classroom teacher for 15 years and served as the Social Studies Department Chair for 10 years. He also acted as his school’s site tech for four years. In addition to his classroom experience, he spent two years at the K20 Center as a Professional Development Coordinator on GEAR UP for the FUTURE, providing professional development to partner schools to support their grant-based action plans.
Jared currently works as an Instructional Technology Specialist for the Oklahoma Education Technology Trust and is the chair of the AI Committee at the K20 Center. In addition to these responsibilities, he has created impactful professional development for educators and presented at local, state, and national conferences.
