About Jackie Mania-Singer, Ed.D.

Jackie Mania-Singer, Ed.D. is the Director of Research and Evaluation for the University of Oklahoma’s K20 Center. In this position, she manages large-scale research projects, program evaluations, and federal reporting. Prior to this position, Dr. Mania-Singer served as an assistant professor at Oklahoma State University in the Educational Leadership program. Dr. Mania-Singer has 18 years of experience in education as a teacher, a principal, a district central office administrator, and a state-level director. Dr. Mania-Singer has published and presented on educational issues related to systems thinking, superintendent and principal leadership, and district central office reform. Her research interests include social network analysis, systems theory, systems thinking in districts and schools, and educational policy related to school reform and school finance. She has been active in the AERA Systems Thinking in Education SIG since 2015 and has served as Program Chair-elect/Program Chair for the past two years. Dr. Mania-Singer has been named one of Oklahoma City’s 40 under 40 young professionals, is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City’s LOYAL program, and was part of a research team that placed third in the OSU President’s Cup, an award honoring innovative interdisciplinary research projects.
