About Gregg Garn, Ph.D.
Gregg Garn, Ph.D., is the Executive Director of the K20 Center for Educational and Community Renewal at the University of Oklahoma. The K20 Center has secured almost $200 million in external funding to improve educational outcomes for Oklahoma K-12 students. Garn has extensive experience in academic leadership, having served as the Vice President of Online Learning, Dean of the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education, and Interim Dean of the College of Professional and Continuing Studies (PACS). He currently serves as the Deputy Athletic Director for Performance Excellence at the University of Oklahoma, where he oversees academics, sports medicine, student-athlete experience, and strategic initiatives.
Garn is active in several national organizations and has been recognized for his contributions to education with the Humphreys Chair in Education and the Linda Clarke Anderson Presidential Professorship. Dr. Garn is a former president of CADREI, the national association for College of Education deans at Research Institutions, and received the McVittie Emerging Leader Award from the American Association of University Administrators in 2017.
