Emmett Mathews is the Art Director at the University of Oklahoma’s K20 Center. As the Art Director, he leads a team of artists from multiple disciplines ranging from Animation and Graphic Design to Game Development and Videography. The K20 Art team provides support for all K20 Projects and Grants. Before joining the Center in 2015, Emmett began his career as a 3D Character Artist at THQ where he was able to expand his experience in both game development and project management. After THQ, he moved into the military simulation field where he led development on multiple projects ranging from cultural training and foreign intelligence to equipment simulations that are still being used today. He has a passion for creating unique and innovative experiences for both students and educators.
