About Daniel Schwarz, M.A.

As an Instructional Design Curriculum Writer, Daniel collaborates with SMEs and members of the ID, Writing, and Art teams to ensure that K20’s lessons are designed, developed, and published in accordance with the 5E Model and the principles of authentic learning. He also writes social studies lessons that are available to teachers and students on the LEARN database. A native of New Jersey, Daniel moved to Oklahoma from the DC metro area, where he served as a museum educator and tour guide at several historic sites, including the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal NHP and Woodlawn & Frank Lloyd Wright’s Pope-Leighey House. He and his wife, Laura, enjoy spending time with their rescue dogs, Charlie and Willow.
