Alexandra did not always know she wanted to be a teacher, but after her first education class she knew where her vocation truly existed. Her Bachelor’s is in Elementary Education, but quickly found herself loving her time teaching secondary math and science classes. Despite her love for the classroom, Alexandra knew she was not done learning, growing, and advocating for students and education. Her doctorate in Learning Sciences focused on researching motivations of teachers to reach expertise in their profession. What Alexandra likes most about her job is the personalized learning for each of the teachers she works with. The growth is easy to see and easy to celebrate.
