CSI – Continuous Strategic Improvement
CSI – Continuous Strategic Improvement
Who We Are
The Oklahoma State School Boards Association (OSSBA) and the K20 Center have partnered to work with school districts and communities to develop a five-year strategic plan. Strategic plans are developed through one year, following a four-phase model. This research-based model is designed to assist school districts in the development of a strategic plan focused on improving student achievement. After one year of implementation, facilitators work with the district and sites to reflect before planning for the next year.
What We Do
Continuous Strategic Improvement (CSI) is an ongoing process of aligning actions to a district’s mission and goals. Through this practice, participants focus on bringing about incremental advancement of practices and products. With this in mind, OSSBA and K20 have developed a data- and stakeholder-driven strategic improvement planning process. This improvement
planning process can be tailored to fit rural, suburban, and urban school districts. This comprehensive eight- to twelve-month process engages all stakeholder groups to create universal ownership and support for district and school improvement.
