Perfect Stain teaches concepts of evolution and natural selection by helping students to overcome common misconceptions and biases about these subjects. In Perfect Strain, students will help to save the world by breeding pollution-eating bacteria. The bacteria multiply and mutate in a realistic (but accelerated) simulation of their natural process. Though the student has no control over how the bacteria change, they can manipulate the environment to favor desired traits.
Perfect strain also provides a rich system of lessons and feedback to help the student understand how the actions they take in the game reflect the processes that occur in the real world.
Designed for Undergraduate Biology Classes
The K20 Center supports instructors effectively integrate Perfect Strain into their classrooms by providing full implementation support, tiered technical support, and a handy Instructor’s Guide that will:
In addition to integration support, the K20 Center’s GamePortal allows Instructors to view each individual student’s progress, time on scenarios as well as success/failure indicators.
