The K20 Center has several competitive grants applications available for the 2010-2011 school year. Follow the links to find out more about the program, determine if your school is eligible and download applications.
The program is the first phase of the K20 Center’s model for whole
school learning, which teaches education leaders how to initiate and
sustain innovative learning so students will have the skills necessary
to succeed in a knowledge-based world.
The K20 Center Whole School Phase focuses on empowering teachers,
parents, and community leaders by creating technology- enriched
learning communities. These groups share a purpose to improve the
quality of student learning, and help students connect this new
knowledge to their community and society. The OETT Technology to Schools grants helps schools purchase helps
schools purchase technology and professional development through annual grants of $65,000.
K20 Improving Science Across Oklahoma is a whole-school grant
initiative that assists teachers in improving science instruction by
providing intensive training in science content and inquiry processes
along with FOSS science kits.
The Science PDI is administered by the Oklahoma Commission for Teacher
Preparation and is funded by the Oklahoma State Legislature.
